Our high-performance formula provides 4mg of natural astaxanthin in each easy-to-swallow, taste-free capsule, similar to the levels used in published studies.
We’ve chosen to suspend our formula in sunflower seed oil to aid absorption. Capsules are better suited to oil-based materials, which is why we’ve decided to use them over tablets.
We source our raw material from the freshwater green microalgae, Haematococcus Pluvialis, making it a natural – not synthetic – source. Our formula benefits from a 3-month cultivation process, which mimics astaxanthin accumulation in nature. This technique also produces exceptionally pure and high-quality microalgae compared to that grown in outdoor ponds.
Our extraction process uses supercritical CO2 extraction technology which avoids excess heat and is more environmentally friendly; it also ensures a solvent-free product.
You may discover brands of astaxanthin that appear to be at a higher level, however this is often per serving, not per capsule. Or the active astaxanthin level is only 5%, which equates to just 0.6mg astaxanthin per capsule, whereas we guarantee 4mg per capsule.
